Inspired by the verse Daniel 3:18 and the story of Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego and their encounter with King Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace. These 3 men were put in a fiery furnace and had unwavering faith in God that He would deliver them. My hope is that this piece would remind us that our attitudes should reflect that of these young men and their faith in God when things are difficult or when we ourselves are put through the fiery furnace. As it is with ALL things working together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28) God assures us that He is with us (Matthew 28:20) and will deliver us as He did Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego. For in every “but if not” His goodness always prevails. May we never forget that.
